So... (Jack says I start too many conversations that way) can you tell that my car has been in a massive wreck as of late?(Ignore the fact that it looks like it's one big wreck... I said "AS OF LATE")
Yeah me neither... unfortunately the car I ran into wasn't so lucky. Or maybe I wasn't so lucky. I sure didn't feel lucky as I felt the impact on that sad evening only a few short weeks ago. I felt even more unlucky as a put my car in reverse and saw that the car I had hit was a BMW.... a new BMW.... a new BMW with the dealer license plates still attached. Yep still makes me sick to this day.
I still wake up in cold sweats in the middle of the night. That awful dream that replays the smell of burning rubber, the sound of glass hitting the pavement and bumpers being destroyed, the shriek of small children as their mothers shield their eyes from the horrible sight that is my wreck. Unfortunately for this story it doesn't happen like that. In fact Jack says I can't even call it a Fender Bender (I still do). I was only going about 2mph and my car just casually bumped the person in front of me. It did cause a scratch though. And that scratch has caused more sadness and stress in my life than I ever thought possible.
The thing that sucks the most is that the FENDER BENDER was totally my fault. I take complete responsibility- except on the random days that I feel like blaming the sun (which was in my eyes) or my mother (whom I was speaking to on my cell phone). Other than that it was my fault. Regardless of whose fault it was (mother....) I have now paid the 517 dollars it cost to fix said scratch, and I am now back to driving around talking on my cell phone.
